JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech) StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1650.00 - 1950.00 The ideal candidate should be laid back with a sense of adventure. The shift will be from 9am-5:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. A change in shifts could result in case of an emergency (COVID related, etc). Additionally, the technologist will be required to take call on a rotating schedule with other technologists. This position will be included in on-call rotation. The technologist must be able to perform general diagnostic radiography and CT. Must be ARRT registered. CT machine is a GE Optima 660 and our x-ray machine is a GE Proteus (DR). X-ray unit is GE proteus. Cerner experience preferred. Candidates who have not been vaccinated for COVID or who have previously tested positive for COVID are required to complete 7 days in quarantine prior to attending orientation. Expectations - To perform and provide quality care and images to the people of the Bering Straits Region in accordance with NSHC’s mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures while applying standards of the Radiology profession. Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care within the scope of practice and to departmental standards.
