REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program * Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech * Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) * Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations * Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) * Current ARRT Certification in Sonography * Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position SUMMARY: The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort. ESSENTIAL WORK FUNCTIONS: * Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs * Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders * Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples * Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy * Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate * Observe and record patient status and progress * Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment * Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice REQUIRED ESSENTIAL SKILLS: * Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills * The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language * Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills * Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend * Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism * Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment * Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
