2007 was a tumultuous one for me. Started off in radio advertising, then decided I wanted to get to the next level. So I wound up on the umployment line for the next 6 months. Then I landed on the front doorsteps of a luxious office building in downtown Dallas. Platinum Select; where outrageous meets creativity. We were a rowdy bunch of beautiful folks passionate about staffing. We did something right. Eventually we were bought by the mighty AMN Healthcare, perhaps you heard of them, the biggest healthcare staffing company in the country.
A few years later, we were ultimately transitioned to their successful brand, Med Travelers. I have been making friends and finding people jobs since then. I love what I do and committed to providing a memorable experience for those who choose to travel with me.
Every year, AMN Healthcare selects 5 team members to send to Guatemala to help install water filters and build stoves. What an amazing form of community service. I am very fortunate to be chosen as one of the allustrious 5. Check out my submission video below.

Jamil is my one and only recruiter. After starting off on the wrong foot with a recruiter from another company who kept calling me "Bob," Jamil swooped in and found me my first travel assignment two years ago, and has kept me solidly employed since then. He knows where I want to go and what types of jobs I'm willing to take and often submits me for them before I know what's happening. I appreciate that he is willing to work for and with me. I keep telling my coworkers who are unhappy with their recruiters to make the leap; the one who has, just recently told me she should have listened to me from the start about Jamil.

Jamil is a great recruiter. I've worked with several recruiters at several companies. Jamil is one of the best I've worked with. He's honest about everything and doesn't try to push you into anything you're uncomfortable doing. I'd recommend him as a recruiter to anybody.

I have had a wonderful experience working with Jamil. He is always easy to get in touch with and keeps my priorities his priorities when finding travel positions. He not only does his job, but does it with passion. I was new to traveling therapist work and Jamil was incredibly reliable and helpful, a major reason I took my second contract with Med Travelers. He is approachable, energetic, and fun to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

I've had a great experience working with Jamil as the recruiter for both myself and my husband. Since we're of different disciplines, this can pose a big challenge in finding our contracts together and Jamil has supported our goals and somehow made it all work! He's friendly and approachable, and always accessible when we need him. At times when I've had special requests and needed extra support, Jamil has advocated on my behalf with good success.
