The unit features two procedure rooms and five pre-op/PACU bays. Staffing includes six RNs, two endoscopy technicians, and one endoscope processor for day shifts. Night shifts consist of a call team with one RN and one endoscopy technician. Patient ratios are 1:1. The unit is equipped with Olympus processors, light sources, video equipment, ultrasound, Bovie, ablator, Medivators, and Provation EMR. Candidates must be team players, professional, approachable, and flexible. Typical procedures performed include EGD with biopsy, ablation/cautery, PEG placements and removals, EGD with ultrasound, colonoscopy with polyp removal, biopsy, EGD dilation, and EGD with Bravo. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Travel Technician / Technologist - $3,149 per week in Brighton, CO - Job Title: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Specialty: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred License: Registered ARRT is required Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 18 months of hire Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification or RCIS or RCES required BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required Current ACLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association is required Fluoroscopy Certification is required Clienttion badges are required Must-Have: High School Diploma or equivalent required Description: Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN. Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures. Acts as scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures. Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and about the expectations of the procedure. Teaches patients and families about pre and post-procedure physical conditions. Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness of the unit. Maintains appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures. Completes daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. Accurately documents productivity information. Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identifies potential areas for improvement including processes that could be streamlined or revised to improve patient satisfaction. Identifies potential safety hazards that may create problems for patients and/or staff and takes appropriate actions. Promotes mission, vision, and values. Abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
