Major Holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. A clinical fit review will be conducted for candidates. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, there will be a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. The number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length. Modified Time: 08/03/2026. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is a plus. Charting system experience is preferred, with a desired knowledge of the Epic system. Community hospital experience is required. Travel experience needed. The unit requires skills in abdomen imaging, adult acute care, outpatient imaging, aspirations, biopsies, CT arthrography, and preparation or administration of contrast media. Experience with trauma levels I and II is preferred. Starting peripheral IVs is a hard requirement for this role. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The daily census is 240 patients. The unit specializes in a variety of procedures and supports interdisciplinary care. Compliance during onboarding is essential. All compliance documents are due by the Tuesday prior to the start. Modules are non-billable, with hours factored in the non-billable orientation.

Travelers are required to work one holiday per 13-week assignment. Emergency authorization is available for travelers while their permanent state license is being processed. Candidates who reside within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted. Previous employees must be gone for at least one year before returning as travelers.
