Travel CT Tech - $2,703 per week in Dearborn, MI - Summary : * PET/CT Technologists connect with patients, explain the procedure and ensure patient comfort, safety and satisfaction. * PET/CT Techs interpret physician orders/instructions and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters to produce the highest-quality PET/CT images/studies possible-enabling physicians to diagnose with pinpoint accuracy and treat with confidence. Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, etc. and radiation safety/regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with radioactive materials/patients. * Produces high quality diagnostic images. * Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists. * Trouble-shoots the scanner, coach and peripheral equipment (including: monitors, PACS, coils, etc.). Minimum Job Requirements: * High School Diplma or Associate`s Degree. * Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required. State Liense as required. * AHA BLS certification required. * 1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred. Travel CT Tech - $2,147 to $2,347 per week in Alpena, MI - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan Technologist Position Summary: This position assists the radiologist and other physicians with high quality radiographic images required in part for the diagnosis and treatment of patients while ensuring the least amount of radiation exposure to oneself and the patient. A Day in the Life of a CT Scan Technologist at MyMichigan Health: * (35%)* Perform computer tomography studies following protocol. Able to differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and tailor exams in accordance with patient history obtained, protocol, and radiologist instruction.  * (30%)* Administer intravenous (IV) and oral contrast as required for procedures according to protocols. Follow departmental protocol and institution guidelines for delivery of IV contrast material. Monitor patient’s physical and mental condition throughout the entire procedure. Record all patient data appropriately.  * (20%)* Provide radiation protection for patients, self, and others using gonadal shielding and collimation where applicable.
