Imaging team members are expected to adhere to policies, procedures, and workflows. Maintaining medical imaging records in appropriate systems according to department policies and standards is essential. Key success factors include the ability to perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, explain procedures clearly, and provide timely and cost-efficient services. The technologist must be able to work independently and maintain a calm and helpful attitude under stress. Administering first aid and using emergency equipment is required. Customer satisfaction must be ensured by limiting wait times and providing courteous service. Continued education and maintaining current knowledge for appropriate care of different age groups is necessary.
