Travel Surgical Tech in Winnemucca, NV - JOB TITLE Surgical Technologist LOCATION Winnemucca, NV SCHEDULE / JOB TYPE Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call requirements include 1–2 weeknights per week (5:00 PM – 6:30 AM), 1 weekend per month (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 6:30 AM), and rotation for major holidays | 20-minute call response time required KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Urology, OB/C-Section, GYN, Pain Management, Cardiology (pacemakers, TEEs), and Endoscopy across 2 ORs and 1 Procedure Room * Adapt to variable case volume, which may range from 0 to 12 cases per day * Assist with sterile processing duties, including tray preparation, as needed * Perform task-based duties within the department during low census periods * Participate in on-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and major holidays REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience * Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic and Endoscopy cases * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification * Ability to meet a 20-minute on-call response time PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS * Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred * Sterile Processing Department (SPD) experience is a plus, as on-call duties may include SPD responsibilities * Experience with pediatric cases (orthopedic or general surgery) WHY JOIN US * Scrubs are provided by the facility, and a structured departmental orientation of 3–4 days is included * Opportunity to work across a diverse range of surgical specialties in a supportive environment that welcomes first-time travelers with the appropriate experience
