Follows protocols to ensure equipment/instrumentation processing meets standards for infection control guidelines. Provides both disposable and reusable equipment to the operating room. Answers telephone calls from internal and external customers. Works in a fast-paced environment that frequently responds to urgent customer needs. Must possess critical thinking skills and have the ability to work independently. Familiarity with operating room and clinic workflows as well as instrumentation is essential. Basic computer skills and understanding of basic medical terminology are required. Ability to perform detail-oriented work repetitively for long periods of time with minimal error is necessary. Experience with borescope, OneSource, and SPM is preferred.
