Qualifications: • Current BLS certifications • Current NY RT license • 2+ year of experience required Responsibilities: Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway clearance techniques. Manage mechanical ventilation and monitor patients on life support systems, adjusting settings based on clinical assessments and physician orders. Conduct diagnostic tests including arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry. Respond to emergency situations , including code blues and rapid responses, to provide airway management and resuscitative support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams , documenting patient progress and contributing to care planning in acute and critical care settings.
