Travel Respiratory Therapy Technician in West Valley City, UT - JOB TITLE Respiratory Therapist LOCATION West Valley, UT SCHEDULE / JOB TYPE Contract | Nights | Onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans * Conduct diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry * Transport patients within the facility or between facilities as needed * Revise therapy plans based on ongoing patient evaluation and clinical findings * Provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours in accordance with department and facility policy * Work standard shifts as well as flexible hours, including overtime exceeding 40 hours per week as required REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP) * Active BLS certification * Active ACLS certification * Active PALS certification * Active NRP certification * Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS * Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience * Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems WHY JOIN US * Opportunity to work in a dynamic respiratory therapy department with exposure to a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures * Contract position offering schedule variety and the ability to build experience across multiple care settings
