Travel Respiratory Therapy Technician in Oklahoma City, OK - JOB TITLE Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) LOCATION Oklahoma City, Oklahoma SCHEDULE / JOB TYPE Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff across all appropriate age levels. * Document treatment information and patient responses accurately in the computerized medical record system. * Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients. * Serve as a resource person to medical staff regarding respiratory care procedures and equipment. * Ensure respiratory equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and operational. * Participate as a member of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program. * Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. * Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire. * Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required within 12 months of hire. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS * Two (2) or more years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting. * Strong clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems across all patient age groups.
