Travel Orthopedic Tech - $2,145 per week in Morrisville, NC - Job Title: Orthopedic Technologist Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Orthopedic Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of orthopedic experience required License: Must have a valid license in hand Certifications: BLS required Ortho Tech Certification preferred Must-Have: Casting experience Description: Targeted start date is 08/10/2026. Shift is 08:00AM - 05:00PM, Monday to Friday. Required experience includes casting and a minimum of 2 years in orthopedic tech. BLS certification is mandatory for this role. Preferred certifications include Orthopedic Tech Certification. There are no weekend or on-call requirements. First-time travelers are welcome. Local candidates residing within 75 miles are eligible. The facility follows a bi-weekly orientation schedule. The candidate must have proficiency in fitting and removal of various casts. Skills should include sterile dressing techniques, suture removal, and the ability to perform specific casting techniques. Candidates will work with a varied patient demographic including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. Overall attendance will be monitored throughout the assignment period. Monitoring for excessive tardiness and attendance expectations will be enforced. Modules for ongoing education will be both billable and non-billable. Modules are completed either during orientation or within the first week of the assignment.
