Travel Medical Assistant - $18 per hour in Nashua, NH - Position: Medical Assistant  Job Description: * Ushers clients from the waiting room, collects a complete set of vital signs prior to client appointment with prescriber, and documents the results promptly into the EMR. * Collects samples of bodily fluids as necessary for genetic testing and drug screening, setting up both instant and send-out interpretation of results.  Enters orders into respective online portals, including client insurance information. * Obtains laboratory results from a variety of sources, and prints and /or records, as appropriate in EMR and/or REMs.  Maintains a list of clients in Clozapine REMS and ensures that clients complete lab work at required intervals.   * Acts as the liaison between the prescriber, families, and staff, as appropriate. * Assists the nursing staff in outreach to clients and fellow staff, including sending ACT team members a summary of weekly appointments. * Coordinates the ordering and storage of supplies utilized by the nursing department. * Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.   Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * At least 1 year of experience  * Ability to accurately collect and measure all required vital signs. * Proficiency in using EMR and other online systems. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Email, Word, EXCEL). * Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
