The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. One year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience required. Blood bank experience preferred. Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile) Prior traveling experience preferred. Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only). Education - Minimum: Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology. Education verification required. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science Licenses & Certifications: Preferred Certification: Certification Medical Laboratory Technician by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency.
