Travel Dialysis Tech - $2,312 per week in Laramie, WY - ID: 49314495 Shift: Days Description: POSITION SUMMARYThe Registered Nurse provides direct outpatient nursing care to patients in the Dialysis Unit and prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the nursing care provided within the unit ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS? Maintains knowledge of AAMI, CDC, KDOQI and Network 15 requirements for dialysis units related to water system, infection control and patient care best practices and standards.? Completes the department equipment check off list and demonstrates competency on all department equipment. Equipment competency is maintained on an ongoing, annual basis.? Assumes the role of Primary Nurse and its responsibilities and duties to assigned patients.? Other duties as assignedEDUCATION? Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.EXPERIENCE? 2 Years previous outpatient Dialysis experience requiredCREDENTIALS? Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.? Must have current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH.? Must have current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or become certified within eight (8) months of hire.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES? Knowledge though training or experience in preforming patient care activities for adult and geriatric patients.? Annual completion of yearly required CEUs.?
