Travel Phlebotomist - $15 to $21 per hour in Lewes, DE - Position: Phlebotomist Job Description: * Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. * Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. * Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. * Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. * Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. * Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order. * Check all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100% correct. * Package specimens for transport * Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen. * Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations. * Attends annual department trainings * Answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries. Qualifications: * Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states. * Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting * Reliable transportation with at least 4 years of licensed driving experience and possess a valid driver's license issued in the state of residence. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * High School Diploma or GED

Travel Medical Assistant - $20 per hour in Wilmington, DE - Position: Medical Assistant Job Description: * Room patients, this includes but not limited to: escort patients to examination rooms, prepare them for the provider by completing medication reconciliation, obtaining and recording in the electronic medical record system the patient’s medical history, chief complaint, assess vitals, complete care gaps and any additional care as needed or requested. * Support telehealth visits: similar to rooming patients, the MA will prepare the patient for the provider portion of the visit, this includes identifying the chief complaint, completing a medication reconciliation, addressing care gaps, confirming the patient’s pharmacy * Prepare exam rooms for patient exams, ensuring that exam rooms are neat, clean, well-stocked and properly prepared. * Collect urine, blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for * testing * Operate electrocardiogram (EKG) or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests * Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the provider with appropriate written orders * Provide education to patients regarding treatment procedures, medications, diets, providers’ instructions and preparation necessary for diagnostic tests, x-rays and laboratory examinations * Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies * Perform and document point-of-care equipment testing daily before beginning patient care * Keep patients’ personal health information confidential, discussing it only with other personnel who are involved in the patient’s care, treatment or payment of services * Maintain infection control checklist * Maintain patient records per documentation protocol. * Maintain basic life support (BLS) certification and clinical competency Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED * Successful completion of a medical assistant training program at an accredited institution * Must be bilingual-Spanish * Basic life support certification * Experience using Microsoft Office software and electronic medical record software * Availability to work evenings until 9 p.m. and occasional Saturday morning * Reliable transportation and ability to travel independently between sites Preferred: * Some advanced training/college courses in Allied Health, Science, Medical Assisting, or other healthcare-related field * Medical Assistant certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) completed within 12 months of hire * Completion of an interpreter training course, certification by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters or certification by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters
