Travel CT Tech - $2,902 per week in Bismarck, ND - Performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images. Produces quality computed tomography exam images and exercise professional judgement in the performance of procedures. Provides for patient care and initiate life support measures as necessary. Interacts effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff and healthcare workers. Possesses the skills and knowledge to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans as well as the ability to perform related procedures and protocols. Has the ability to learn and utilize new technology. Possesses the ability to professionally obtain information from patients or their responsible parties to further improve their personalized treatment and care. On a continuum, the CT Technologist works to develop an understanding of the patient’s physical and emotional status. Works well with all age groups. Sanford sites may expand job responsibilities based on the needs of the facility, to include, but not limited to: on-call rotation, nights, weekends and holidays. Perform CT related tasks and aware of general CT protocols. Level 2 Trauma Center. Stroke Center. Imaging hospital and clinic patients with required post processing of images. Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,126 per week in Lake Charles, LA - The Catheterization Laboratory Technologist I has a critical role in supporting cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab and operating essential equipment, including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition. This role ensures the accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements, while also maintaining stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards. The Technologist I actively collaborates with the medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency, serving as the radiation safety representative during X-ray usage and continually developing proficiency in specialized cath lab technologies. WEEKEND REQUIREMENT On call only ON CALL REQUIREMENT 8-10 shifts including weekends and holidays. IV strongly preferred. Ok with first time travelers. Ok with duos/pairs. - Average # of scans/studies per day: Avg 90-100 for acute and ambulatory. - What EMR &/or PACS: EMR = Cerner; PACS = Siemens/SECTRA. - Department Specific Equipment: Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slices. - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No. - Radiologist in-house 24/7?: Organizational coverage from 8a - 10p; Nighthawk from 10p - 8a (remote). - Do they have to start IV's?: Yes. - Shifts & Scheduling: No self scheduling; No block scheduling; could be the only tech in the department depending on shift.
