About the Position

Job Title: Certified OR Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in OR with strong general, ortho, and neuro experience required License: VA state license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech certification accepted Must-Have: Strong ortho, neuro, and general skills are required. Proficiency in total joints, big belly, crani, and ortho trauma experience highly preferred. Robotic training is highly preferred. Description: The position requires a Certified OR Tech proficient in surgical settings. Experience in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and general surgery is essential. Travelers must adhere to a no-call policy and work 3 shifts from Friday to Sunday. All requests for time off must be included in the submission process. The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks. Travelers must work one holiday during their contract term. Candidates who hold an out-of-state license are required to obtain a state license. Successful applicants must provide strong clinical skills and demonstrate experience with special equipment such as robotic surgical devices. The facility offers a range of surgical services including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, gynecology, oncology, and pediatrics. Clinical documentation must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment. Compliance with all documentation and certification requirements is mandatory. One holiday must be worked during every 13-week assignment, with exceptions for winter holidays where two holidays must be covered. No local candidates will be accepted.
