Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient speech-language pathology services with potential for some outpatient coverage
• Evaluate and treat patients within a neurological population including stroke, TBI, and Parkinson's disease
• Assess and manage trauma and post-intubation patients requiring speech and language intervention
• Conduct cognitive evaluations to determine home safety readiness
• Perform swallow studies as part of the patient care plan

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Nebraska
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• Ability to meet established performance expectations throughout the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with neurological patient populations in an inpatient setting
• Familiarity with dysphagia management and swallow study protocols
