Travel Endo Tech / GI Tech - $1,650 to $1,850 per week in Pontiac, MI - JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Procedural GI Scrub Assisting: Prepare the endoscopy suite and directly assist gastroenterologists and pulmonologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies. * Scope Reprocessing & High-Level Disinfection (HLD): Maintain rigid compliance with SGNA, AAMI, and infection control standards during the mechanical cleaning, leak testing, high-level disinfection, and safe storage of flexible endoscopes. * Specimen Handling: Accurately collect, label, preserve, and log tissue biopsies, fluid collections, and brushings obtained during procedures according to pathology department protocols. * On-Call Availability: Participate in a rotational weekend/weeknight emergency on-call pool to support emergent GI bleeds or foreign body removals.
