Our Cardiac Observation Unit (COU) is where our patients are prepped for procedures and recovered post procedure. Our team works with high risk, high acuity patients and pride ourselves in superb outcomes. Bedside procedures such as Trans esophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions (CV) are performed in COU. Requirements of the Electrophysiology Tech - Cath Lab Technologist * Associate's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or three years' recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech in a Cath Lab. * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. * Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Course. * Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification.
