Travel EEG Tech - $2,327 per week in Santa Fe, NM - Job Title: EEG Tech Profession: EEG Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 Days - 10 Hours Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: 2 years of actively performing echocardiograms preferred License: State Echo Sonographer License Certifications: A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. Must-Have: BLS certification issued through American Heart Association Description: Performs diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients. Performs technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams. Coordinates activities with interrelated hospital departments, including scheduling exams, transporting patients, answering the phone, and ensuring billing information is accurately entered for payment. Assists the cardiologist while dictating exams by preparing and measuring M-modes and exchanging any other pertinent information contributing to the diagnosis. Acts as a go-between to deliver, pick up, and distribute dictations in a timely manner. Responds to patients' needs during exams. Reports changes in patient condition to the physician or nurse in charge. Orders echo supplies. Keeps rooms clean and neat and supplied as needed. Logs patients and exams and files patient records in the department. Participates in performance improvement activities at the departmental, interdepartmental, and hospital-wide levels. Shares responsibility for on-call coverage for echo emergency exams done apart from regular working hours as established by departmental policy. Maintains quality control of the equipment operation and quality of examinations performed. Coordinates repair services as needed. Keeps current on events and advances in the field of echocardiography. Seeks advice and mentors with cardiologists regarding new skills and knowledge in the field. Assists with other cardiac procedures as needed.

Travel EEG Tech - $2,369 to $2,409 per week in Santa Fe, NM - Travel: Electroencephalogram Technician Santa Fe, NM 13 weeks  SHIFT: 4 Days - 10 Hours (7AM - 5:30PM) START: ASAP REQUIRED Certification/Licenses: * A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required.  * State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.  * BLS certification issued through American Heart Association. WEEKEND REQUIREMENT -  NO ON CALL REQUIREMENT -  NO Summary: Performs diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients. Requirements: Education:  * High school diploma or equivalent. Two year allied health education program that is patient care related. Allied health occupations include but are not limited to: diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist and/or registered nurse preferred. Certification/Licenses: * A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required. State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association. Skills: * Ability to communicate effectively * Demonstrates strong organizational skills * Ability to work collaboratively with others from a variety of disciplines * Ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions * Manual dexterity to perform echocardiograms.
