Travel Director of Rehab (DOR) in Rosemead, CA - Rehabilitation Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Leadership Role Experience Level: 5+ years rehab experience | 2+ years supervisory experience Estimated Salary Range $125,500 $153,000 per year Job Overview We are seeking a Rehabilitation Manager to oversee therapy services within a PACE (All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. This role is responsible for coordinating rehabilitation operations, supervising therapy staff, and ensuring high-quality, compliant care delivery for elderly participants with complex needs. The Rehabilitation Manager will provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic guidance to ensure effective therapy program delivery across multiple care settings, including home-based services. Key Responsibilities Oversee rehabilitation therapy programs and ensure alignment with clinical standards Supervise and mentor rehabilitation staff (PT, OT, and related therapy teams) Coordinate participant care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (IDT) Ensure compliance with state, federal, and PACE regulatory requirements Support business planning, budgeting, and operational decision-making Conduct home visits to assess therapy needs and equipment setup when required Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify staffing and program needs Oversee contract management for therapy services where applicable Ensure high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy required Active PT or OT license (California preferred) Minimum 5 years rehabilitation experience working with complex or elderly populations Minimum 2 years leadership or supervisory experience in a rehab setting Strong knowledge of therapy regulations and compliance standards CPR and First Aid certification (required within 180 days of hire, preferred at start) Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills Ability to travel occasionally for home-based care oversight Benefits Full medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off (17 PTO days + 12 holidays + 6 sick days) Career advancement and internal promotion opportunities Collaborative, mission-driven healthcare environment
