Travel Dietitian/Registered Dietitian in Arlington, TX - JOB TITLE Travel Dietitian LOCATION Arlington, Texas SCHEDULE / JOB TYPE Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments across multiple patient care areas within a large acute care facility * Educate patients regarding their prescribed diets and nutritional needs * Document patient tolerances, appropriateness of nutritional support, and patient responses to interventions * Make evidence-based recommendations for nutritional support plans * Float to multiple units and areas as needed to provide coverage * Collaborate with the clinical team, including a clinical supervisor and fellow dietitians, to deliver quality patient care REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Registered Dietitian (RD) credential — must be licensed in the State of Texas * Minimum of 1 year of clinical dietitian experience * Excellent customer service skills * Demonstrated ability to educate patients regarding dietary needs and nutritional plans * Proficiency with computer-based documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS * Experience working in a high-volume acute care or hospital setting * Outgoing, positive personality with strong interpersonal communication skills * Flexibility and willingness to assist with weekend coverage when available WHY JOIN US * Join a well-established clinical nutrition team at a large, multi-area acute care facility with a structured and supportive environment * Gain diverse clinical experience by covering multiple units within a 432-bed facility
