Responsibilities include oxygen therapy management, ventilator support, diagnostic testing, arterial blood gas analysis, airway management, and respiratory treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols. The therapist works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide safe, evidence-based respiratory care. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED * Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE REQUIRED * Current Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Practice * Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) * BLS (American Heart Association) * ACLS (American Heart Association) PREFERRED * NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) * NICU Experience Supplier Note: NRP/NICU experience is preferred but not required.
