Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - $1,678 to $1,771 per week in Baton Rouge, LA - TITLE: RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONER) Location: Available Upon Request Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shift | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) DEPARTMENT * Respiratory Therapy SPECIALTY * Respiratory Care Practitioner / Respiratory Therapist POSITION OVERVIEW The Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care services to both inpatient and outpatient populations ranging from neonatal to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include oxygen therapy management, ventilator support, diagnostic testing, arterial blood gas analysis, airway management, and respiratory treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols. The therapist works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide safe, evidence-based respiratory care. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED * Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE REQUIRED * Current Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Practice * Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) * BLS (American Heart Association) * ACLS (American Heart Association) PREFERRED * NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) * NICU Experience Supplier Note: NRP/NICU experience is preferred but not required.
