RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform advanced respiratory procedures including ventilator management, suctioning, artificial airway care, bedside spirometry, arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretation, chest X-ray interpretation, and resuscitation. * Administer respiratory therapies such as IPPB, Incentive Spirometry, EZ-PAP, HHN treatments, chest physiotherapy, aerosol treatments, oxygen therapy, and airway management. * Provide smoking cessation and asthma education to patients. * Perform diagnostic testing including EKGs, EEGs, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Mobile Cardiac Telemetry, Holter Monitor, and Event Monitor hookups. * Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care.
