Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Tampa, FL - JOB TITLE Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Skilled/LTC LOCATION Tampa, FL SCHEDULE / JOB TYPE Contract | Days | Onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. * Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, activities, and treatments. * Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist. * Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities, techniques, and care instructions. * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes. * Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and modify plans as necessary under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. * Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Florida. * Confirmed SNF post-graduate experience required. * Proficiency in PCC and NetHealth documentation platforms. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS * Experience working in a fast-paced Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting with high evaluation volume. * Familiarity with interdisciplinary care coordination in a SNF environment.
