Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,926 per week in Atlanta, GA - Title: Cath Lab Tech - Contract Location: Atlanta, GA Job Details: * Pay Rate = $2600/week * Shift Type = Day or Nights * Assignment Length = 13 Weeks Description of job: The Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. This role is responsible for preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring a sterile and safe procedural environment while delivering high-quality patient care. Qualifications: * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field * Completion of an accredited cardiovascular or radiologic technologist program * Certification such Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred OR certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography (R) * Valid state license in GA * Basic Life Support (BLS) required * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or interventional setting preferred * Experience assisting in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology procedures is a plus Responsibilities: * Assist cardiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (e.g., angiograms, stent placements, pacemaker insertions) * Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory, ensuring all equipment is sterile and functioning properly * Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures * Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment * Administer medications under physician supervision as permitted * Scrub in and assist with sterile techniques during procedures * Prepare patients pre-procedure and provide post-procedure care instructions * Respond promptly to emergency situations, including cardiac events * Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation * Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals SnapCare Benefits: * End of Shift Payments * Medical, dental, vision, life, disability * Guaranteed Hours Why work for SnapCare: * Get end-of-shift pay through our Paymint app. * Enjoy comprehensive benefits that cover medical, dental, vision care and more. * Access our round-the-clock clinician support team whenever you need assistance. * SnapCare has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval, a testament to our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
