4 Easy Breakfasts for Travel Therapists

Egg Muffins

We’ve included egg muffins in our list of easy breakfasts for travel therapists because they’re quick, delicious, and super customizable! As someone who has only recently discovered this meal prepping breakfast hack, I couldn’t be happier with it. I definitely enjoy omelets and egg sandwiches in the morning, but I enjoy my snooze button even more. All you have to do for this delicious breakfast is beat the eggs, add your ingredients, pour the mixture into a muffin tin, and bake it! You can go the extra mile and freeze a batch for up to two months. So, say goodbye to that morning drive-thru line and hello to this tasty time-saver!

Smoothies

Who says that drinks can’t be meals? Well, as long as you have filling ingredients and a blender, anything is possible! Smoothies that contain superfoods such as strawberries, bananas, and flaxseeds are one of the best grab-and-go breakfasts that you can get. They’re refreshing, portable, versatile, and packed with nutrients that raise your energy levels and help you focus throughout the day. With the internet as your guide, start experimenting with different combinations to find some ideal smoothies to sip on your way to work.

Parfaits

If you’re not feeling a beverage-meal hybrid but still really like the ingredients in smoothies, parfaits are definitely a great option for you. They’re an awesome way to fight hunger while still staying healthy. There’s an endless amount of parfait recipes on the internet, but one of my all-time favorites is a simple mix of vanilla yogurt, coconut shavings, raspberries, dark chocolate, and granola. As long as you prep the ingredients in separate layers, these parfaits will keep in your fridge until the morning. So do a little research and find your new favorite!

Trail mix

You can’t really have a trail mix without including nuts. Not only are they pretty affordable when you buy them in bulk, but they also contain healthy nutrients like protein, fiber, and carbs! There is no limit to the different variations of trail mix recipes, but if you’re looking for something healthier you should try to limit the amount of chocolate you’re putting in there. We all love our M&M’s, but dark chocolate is a much healthier option for all you sweet tooths out there. But remember, even healthy foods are best when used in moderation.

Where ever your travel therapy job takes you, you’re going to need a hearty breakfast to get your day started. Meal prepping may seem overwhelming to some, but remember to start small. You’ll certainly enjoy the benefits of a more stress-free morning. So try these easy breakfasts for travel therapists and don’t be afraid to make them your own!
