Job Title: Oncology Social Worker (Day Shift)

Location: Maryland

We're seeking a licensed Social Worker with Oncology experience. Candidates should hold a Master's degree in social work and a Maryland Social Work License (LCSW or LCSW•C). Equivalent active licenses are acceptable during emergencies, given MD board application is filed for clearance.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Hospital experience, preferably in Oncology or Palliative/hospice care.
• Proficiency with EPIC.
• Expertise in biopsychosocial assessments, care plans, care coordination, and discharge planning.
• Knowledge of health insurance, financial implications of chronic illness, and regional/state/federal resources.
• Experience in crisis counseling, suicide assessment, short•term counseling, family meetings, end of life and advance care planning.
• Comfortable working with seriously ill patients and families in a fast•paced academic health care setting.
• Familiarity with Telehealth systems and EPIC.
