Position: CMA-Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description:

• Responsible for checking patients in and out
• Collect and update current demographic and insurance information
• Perform injections
• Perform phlebotomy functions as required
• Rooming patients
• Taking vitals and updating patient information into EPIC system
• Assisting with in office procedures
• Will float throughout offices within facility
• Maintain electronic medical records
• Perform related job duties as required to support the medical office

Requirements

• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant
• Previous EMR experience is a plus
• Must be flexible with schedule may have to stay after 5pm depending on patient load
• Must be Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• BLS (AHA) 
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a high volume environment
• A High School Diploma or GED
