Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric - (RRT - Peds - Pedi)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1686.00 - $1942.00
Experience: None required. Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment. Clinical decision making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient. Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient's needs. Ability to work under stress. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff. Some computer skills. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire. Special Requirement: If hired without current registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care, incumbents must receive at a minimum the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential within 90 days of hire. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be received within 12 months of hire.
