Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 1/29/2024 Available Shifts: 8 D, 10 D Pay Rate: $1856.00 - $2139.00
Kyphoplasty, y-90, peripheral interventions, stroke and trauma cases, diagnostic cerebral cases, drain placements, biopsies. Thrombolysis cases, neuro coiling cases. Flexible with change, able to work in different radiology modality throughout day. Positive outlook. Number of Beds -5 Bay holding room; 3 room Ir suite; 3 room CT suite Number of Staff – 5 nurses 5 RT’s Type of staff: Day Shift –Outpatient procedures during hours of 700-530, call requirement through night. Night Shift – Call required Patient Ratios – 1:1 during procedures; 3-4 patient ration in holding room dependent upon acuity Type of equipment –Maclab documentation and paper charting EMR -Meditech
Required Qualifications
1 year IR procedure nursing experience including sedation experience
ACLS, PALS. Kyphoplasty, y-90, peripheral interventions, stroke and trauma cases, diagnostic cerebral cases, drain placements, biopsies. Thrombolysis cases, neuro coiling cases. Flexible with change, able to work in different radiology modality throughout day. Positive outlook.

This facility recently opened a children’s hospital, which is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in the region. This not-for-profit facility just went through a $36 million-dollar renovation to continue its ability to fulfill its commitment to the community’s healthcare needs. The emergency service includes a Level I trauma center and Level II pediatric center. This facility sees 24,000 patients annually.
