Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Duration: 13 weeks

IR Tech – Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment, C-Arm, and PACS.
• Prepare patients, maintain sterile technique, and monitor during procedures.
• Assist with angiograms, biopsies, embolizations, stent placements, drains, PICC/central lines, and other vascular procedures.
• Document procedures and provide post-procedure patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation and float as required.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech experience
• ARRT (R) and BLS required (ACLS preferred)
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Experience with vascular access, angiography, embolization, biopsies, stent placement, PICC/central lines, and drain procedures
• Knowledge of Siemens equipment, PACS, C-Arm, and contrast media (preferred)
• Active license (if applicable) before start date
• Must be willing to take call and float to affiliated IU Health facilities.
