About the Position

Job Title: Speech Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Speech Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Licensed Speech Therapist in the state of Nebraska Certifications: American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers Must-Have: Ability to work in a rapid response crisis environment Description: Client operates on Low/Mid/High performer expectations. If it is determined that a traveler is not meeting those expectations, the contract will be terminated immediately. Daily caseload consists of 7-10 patients. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Epic. The patient population includes neuro cases such as stroke, TBI, and Parkinson's. Other patients may present with trauma, post-intubation needs, and require cognitive evaluations for home safety. Some swallow studies may also be part of the responsibilities. Occasional weekend coverage may be required.
