Job Title

Diagnostic Imaging Registered Nurse – Level 3

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days and Evenings, Occasional Weekends (No Holidays or Nights) | 8-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology
• Apply critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patient status throughout imaging procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including wearing facility-issued and laundered scrubs in procedural areas as required
• Demonstrate flexibility and organization while supporting a team-oriented department

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Active New York State RN license (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Medical/Surgical nursing background
• Prior experience in a Diagnostic Imaging or procedural nursing environment
