Location: Wichita Falls, TX

Pay: $1,300 to $1,320 per week
Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support a busy Acute Care Hospital OR. The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments while ensuring compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assemble surgical trays and prepare instruments for procedures.
• Operate sterilizers, washers, and high-level disinfection equipment.
• Perform biological and chemical indicator testing.
• Process a wide variety of specialty surgical instruments, including Orthopedic, Cardiac, General Surgery, Robotics, Endoscopy, Neurology, OB/GYN, Urology, and Vascular.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all infection control guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred (strong travel experience may be considered with fewer years).
• Travel experience required.
• Trauma Level II experience required.
• CBSPD, CRCST, or HSPA/IAHCSMM Certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital OR and endoscope reprocessing preferred.

Travel Assignment: Monday–Friday schedule. Start date preferred within the next 3–5 weeks. Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted). COVID-19 vaccine not required.
