About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: 1+ years License: SC state license Certifications: BLS; ARRT (M); SCRQSA (M) Must-Have: Must know how to operate Siemens Revelations/Hologic Dimension equipment. Must perform screening and diagnostic mammograms. Description: Travelers are required to perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day. Diagnostic mammography exams may be performed as the schedule allows. The primary focus of this assignment is screening mammography. This is a fast-paced outpatient facility that requires autonomy. Effective teamwork, great communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility are essential. The daily caseload is approximately 55 cases. Weekend work is not required. There is no on-call requirement. The technologist must be willing to shift work hours if necessary. Travelers are required to float to facilities in the area as needed. All time off requests must be disclosed at submission. Approval of time off will be based on operational needs. The facility does not allow call outs. No radiation badge is required. All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Participants should confirm their commitment before the hurricane season begins.
