Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide registered respiratory therapy services to adult patients in an acute care setting
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Float to emergency department as needed based on staffing and patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC – current and active
• Active Florida Respiratory Therapy license (RT-FL)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – current
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – current
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – current
• Minimum of 1 verifiable professional reference from work history

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in adult acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy
• Familiarity with emergency department respiratory care protocols
