About the Position

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: X-Ray Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of previous Radiologic Technologist experience. At least 1 travel contract completed preferred. License: Iowa State License Required. Compact License Allowed. Certifications: ARRT Certification Required. Must-Have: - Epic experience required. - Must have experience with DR, OEC C-Arm, 3D C-Arm, and GE Elite C-Arm. - Profile should include a valid Driver's License. - Work history/resume required. - Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of submission date. - License verification required. - Copy of required certifications. - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission. - Proof of taxable address to verify bill rate based on local traveler policy is required. Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Average care load is 15 patients a day. Must be willing to work 1-2 of the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day. Must have a taxable address outside of a specified radius from the facility. Must not have been employed by the organization in the last 12 months. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be adaptable and able to work with various teams in high-stress environments. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and quality outcomes. Experience in a trauma center is preferred.
