About the Position

Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; will consider candidates with 1 year of experience on a case-by-case basis. License: SC PTA license required; pending state license accepted. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Experience in home health preferred; will consider all PTA experience. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Candidates must have knowledge of charting systems. Description: We are seeking a PTA for a home health position. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00. Candidates must have home health experience. If more than two shifts per 13-week contract are missed without reasonable explanation, the contract may be subject to review for cancellation. Successful candidates will work with adult and geriatric populations. Daily census will be approximately 6 patients with around 6 visits per day. Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions, wounds, cardiac issues, renal issues, and generalized weakness. Candidates should have experience with various rehabilitation techniques and equipment. Recent experience with charting systems is preferred but not required. Travel compliance includes a radius rule of 75 miles. Pass/fail tests on cardiac dysrhythmia and moderate sedation will be administered at orientation. All compliance documents are due in advance of the start date.
