Two of the shifts will be on weekdays, and two will be on weekends. The therapist will float between multiple facilities. Flexible shift arrangements may be accommodated if necessary. Various units require specific certifications. For emergency departments, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are required. ICU and PCU units require NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Acute rehab units require BLS and NIHSS. Medical and step-down ICU units require BLS and NIHSS, with some preferring additional certifications. Overall, certifications in BLS and NIHSS are essential for various units.
