About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years of acute care experience required. Experience as an MRI Lead preferred. License: High School Graduate required. Diploma from a certified school of Radiology required. Certifications: Current ARRT(MR) required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away. Availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM with on-call requirements. Description: This position requires a technician to perform MRI procedures in an acute care setting. Candidates must have a strong understanding of MRI technology and protocols. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with the healthcare team. This role involves ensuring patient safety and comfort during MRI scans. The technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment and following safety guidelines. A commitment to professional development and adherence to clinical standards is expected.
