About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year required, 2 years preferred License: Must have valid state license Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification Must-Have: - Recent experience in both CT and X-ray modalities - Experience in pediatric patient care is preferred - EPIC charting experience required Description: This position requires a CT and X-ray multimodality tech. Candidates must have recent experience in both modalities. Local candidates are allowed at the same rate. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, with 2 years preferred. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The position involves working in an emergency department with a mix of emergency and inpatient cases. There may be a need to float to different locations as necessary. Candidates must possess skills in abdomen imaging, brain perfusion, chest imaging, colonography, and administering contrast media, among others. The patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census and visits can vary. Candidates are expected to contribute to interdisciplinary support. Preference will be given to candidates with charge experience and trauma level experience. All candidates must ensure their background checks are clear before commencing work. Both travelers and permanent staff must be away for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler. A natural nail policy is enforced. All candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as per local regulations.
