About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA, NCCT Must-Have: - Experience with a variety of surgical procedures and scopes. - Ability to float within facility as needed. Description: Diagnoses include, but are not limited to: general surgery, OB/GYN, plastic surgery, ENT, eyes, cardiovascular/thoracic, laparoscopy, urology, robotic surgery, orthopedics, neuro/spine, and various endoscopic procedures. Weekend shifts required every other weekend. Call shifts are scheduled at 10-12 shifts per 6-week rotation. Floating within the facility and as needed to other hospital is required. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work. For two major holidays, the expectation is to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Full compliance required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start may be pushed back two weeks due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates. The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length. Required skills include expertise in a variety of surgical techniques and procedures. The facility serves adult and geriatric patient populations. Expected patient diagnoses cover a wide range of surgical specialties. Interdisciplinary support is present within the unit. Compliance with onboarding and documentation is mandatory.
