About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Virginia state license required; any active state license accepted. Certifications: BLS / ARRT(R) / ARRT(CT) Must-Have: Siemens and Epic experience required. Description: Seeking a CT Tech for a 13-week assignment. Shift hours are Friday to Sunday, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Actual shift time may vary by +/- 2 hours depending on department needs. Candidates must not have any call requirements. Requests for days off must be included during submission. Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift every two weeks. Availability to work one holiday per 13-week contract is required. Preferred clinical skills include: Preparation and administration of contrast media. Knowledge of radiation safety. Experience with 3D rendering and various CT procedures, including abdominal and chest imaging. Ability to perform aspirational and biopsy procedures, as well as coronary CTA and trauma imaging. Travelers may be required to float to nearby facilities. Interdisciplinary support within the unit includes radiology and lift teams. The facility provides an acute care environment with a comprehensive range of patient age groups. Candidates seeking this position should have experience in an acute care or teaching hospital setting. Compliance and documentation will be required before start.
