About the Position

Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS ARDMS or CCI Must-Have: On-call availability approximately 1 day per week, with a response time required within 30 minutes. Description: This position requires an Echo Tech to work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. The days scheduled each week may vary, and there is no guarantee of the same day off each week. Candidates with 1 year of experience are welcome to apply, including first-time travelers. Required certifications include BLS and either ARDMS or CCI, but not both. The role demands skills in adult acute care, emergency department scenarios, and various echocardiography techniques, including 2-D Echo and color Doppler. Pediatric experience is strongly preferred. Specific charting experience in any community hospital setting is beneficial. All time off requests will be approved on an individual basis and must be submitted for consideration. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility. This role may involve floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities. Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 year in this assignment, followed by a minimum 6-month break before returning. All references must cover 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Module completion is required pre-start and annually, with time spent on modules being self-reported. Housing options should be explored as availability may be limited.
