Job Title

Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Burbank, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures with a strong focus on orthopedic cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and surgical supplies throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the broader surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 4–6 call shifts per 6-week period, inclusive of weekend call)
• Float between facilities within the state as required by assignment needs
• Complete required compliance modules prior to start and on an annual basis

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of surgical technologist experience required
• Strong orthopedic surgical scrubbing experience
• Active, valid California state license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Mediteach charting system
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting (392+ beds)
• Familiarity with multi-facility float requirements within a health system
