About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30) or 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 2 years clinical CT imaging experience required License: State Licensed Radiographer required Certifications: ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) and (CT) required; BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Previous Charge Experience preferred Trauma Level I & II Experience preferred Charting System Experience with Epic required Description: Days with either 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Start time is 08:00. No weekends or on-call duties. Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures utilizing radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors. Set up the imaging room according to the examination being performed, including the use of proper isolation precautions when needed. Provide basic maintenance and repairs. Participate in quality assurance and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules. Triage routine and emergent procedures efficiently. Experience with GE CT, Canon Insight and Ulrich injector is preferred. Floating may be required as needed. Travelers should meet the minimum experience requirements. Pass/fail testing is required with strict passing criteria. Telemetry exams will be administered prior to start. A passing score of 80% or higher is required. Attempts to pass the exam will be limited. Failure to pass after three attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment.
